2. Recent burglaries in Ashburton & Shirley areas carried out by prising open UPVC porch and patio doors. Vehicles have been taken. Lock all windows, double lock doors and take car keys to your bedroom when you retire or keep them out of sight.

3. Be aware of unsolicited telephone calls from Crime Prevention UK or G I Security selling free alarm systems. They are aggressive sellers and have indicated they are in touch with police by quoting an incident number. Obtain your own quotes from reputable companies.
